TAMBA, the multi-award-winning viral agency has announced its appointment as the viral marketing agency for E Commerce Expo 2008.
The leading event for e-commerce in the UK, E Commerce Expo brings together all aspects of the e-tail supply chain.
TAMBA has been tasked with producing a viral game to attract delegate registrations for the show and create buzz around the event.
The game, Test Your Memor-E, is a simple card matching game with a twist. Symbols on the cards are representative of various parts of the ecommerce supply chain, and there are three levels of difficulty to challenge even the most gifted of e-business professionals.
On the appointment of TAMBA, Justin Opie, Show Director says; “E Commerce Expo’s typical visitor is somebody already operating in the digital world, or close to. With Expo now only days away after months of standard online and offline marketing, to go “viral” with the campaign and capitalize on the buzz in the market, was a logical next step. TAMBA have been great to work with, and I’ve been impressed with how quickly they have gone from concept to “live” with such a well thought out creative.”
Jon Broomfield, account director of TAMBA concludes; “We’re pleased to be chosen to create the buzz around this year’s E Commerce Expo. We’ve created a simple yet effective and on-brand game which targets the right audience and provides a direct call to register”.
E Commerce Expo 2008 runs from 28th to 29th October at Olympia, London.
TAMBA will also be exhibiting at the show, offering e-tailers advice on how to use viral marketing to attract new consumers and gain increased order values from existing ones.
