SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) - Forces Help, the charity which provides support to present and past servicemen and women and their families, has appointed DMS to develop its donor upgrade campaign.
DMS, a direct Mmarketing agency specialising in charity marketing and the Baby Boomer audience, has been appointed to launch a regular giving ‘upgrade’ appeal that is set to roll out in November.
SSAFA Forces Help will target affluent donors, who have a close connection to the Armed Forces, to upgrade their current cash donations to a regular monthly gift.
Liz Graham, direct marketing manager at SSAFA, said, “We appointed DMS, because of its profound knowledge and success in the charity sector, plus we believe DMS understands why the appeal is important to raise funds for the service men and women that are serving and have served our country and need our support.”
Steven Dodds, Planner at DMS, added. “DMS created an appeal which connects with the audience and demonstrates that donating a regular gift can make a vital difference to SSAFA’s work in helping service men and women and their families.”
DMS, are part of The Direct Marketing Group, other clients include Oxfam, Cats Protection, RSPB, CAFOD and The National Trust.
