Autodesk sticks with RLYL

Autodesk, Inc., a world leader in 2D and 3D design software for the manufacturing, building and construction and media and entertainment markets, has retained Red Lorry Yellow Lorry for PR activity on its media & entertainment products across EMEA for the fifth year in a row.

Seeing off competition from AxiCom, ING Media and Whiteoaks, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry's re-pitch confirmed its status as Autodesk's preferred agency for Media & Entertainment.

The lorries have worked with Autodesk Media and Entertainment since 2004, when it was still known as Discreet. The lorries will continue to handle Autodesk's PR for media and entertainment products across EMEA over the next year.

Autodesk is one of the largest software companies in the world and its media and entertainment products are well known for their award-winning digital content creation tools. The best artists in film, TV, games and design use Autodesk software to transform their creative visions into reality.

Films such as The Golden Compass and Spiderman, TV shows like Headcases and House, and video games such as Assassin's Creed and Rock Band are just some of the projects that have relied on Autodesk's products. And architectural projects such as Abu Dhabi airport and Bishopsgate Goods Yard have been created using Autodesk's design visualisation technology.

"We thought it was time to look at the alternatives, having relied on the lorries for four years," said Barbara Marshall, marketing manager EMEA for Autodesk software media and entertainment products. "We asked the lorries to re- pitch, alongside three other agencies, and they once more convinced us of their media and entertainment knowledge, creativity and enthusiasm."

The lorries will continue to handle all media and entertainment PR for Autodesk across EMEA, using its partner-agency network to help deliver a consistent message for Autodesk throughout EMEA.
