Cocktail Marketing, the UK’s leading partnership marketing agency, has created a partnership promotion between DK, the UK's market leader in illustrated non-fiction books, and Giraffe, the rapidly growing group of family friendly restaurants.
The partnership promotion, running for three months from July – September 2008, sees DK providing Giraffe with 70,000 summer activity placemats, 5,000 animal themed recycled notepads and 7,000 postcards.
DK will also provide Giraffe customers with the chance to win ‘a whole jungle of books’ worth £100. Reciprocally, Giraffe will support this promotion across their 23 restaurants nationwide.
Giraffe will also provide a birthday party for 20 children for the Puffin Book Club magazine, in conjunction with Eyewitness Guides’ 20th Anniversary.
Communication of the partnership will result in Giraffe staff handing out the DK activity placemats and notepads to all children aged 5-12 years old. The promotion will also be communicated online through Giraffe’s website.
