TIM w.e. co-founder and CEO, Diogo Salvi, has won the award for globalisation at this year’s Venture Capital IT: International Congress of Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship held in Oeiras, Portugal.
The Venture Capital IT awards recognise national managers’ major achievements in areas including entrepreneurship, innovation and globalisation.
Diogo Salvi was awarded for his integral role in TIM w.e.’s international growth in the competitive market of mobile entertainment. Since founding TIM w.e. six years ago, Salvi has positioned TIM w.e. as a highly-competitive global player with 21 offices worldwide, operating in 60 countries.
Salvi was also recently short-listed for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2008 in Portugal earlier this year.
