Marketing and business technology specialist Occam has announced that it will launch its new customer and prospect management tool – ‘Zebra’ at IDMF.
Zebra, the culmination of years of strategic research and development at Occam, is an innovative data management system that empowers clients to manage customer and prospect communications to suit individual needs in real-time.
By hiring some of the industry’s finest practitioners Occam aims to understand its clients’ data management and integration challenges so precisely, that the most specific solution can be prescribed.
Through exhaustive research and analysis, six segment-specific Zebra solutions have been bred, combining the best mix of technology, data and services available in the market today.
These personalised Zebras mean a solution can be deployed in less than 6 weeks, with 30% increase in targeting quality and 45% increase in campaign management efficiencies compared to traditional methods.
The software has been named Zebra because at first glance, all zebras may look the same, yet each zebra’s stripes are unique (and this mirrors the way a database of customers must be targeted). Zebra will be launched across sectors and specific business challenges through a variety of ‘breeds’.
Zebra Auto, Zebra Insurance, Zebra NFP and Zebra Travel & Leisure will target the automotive, financial services, not-for-profit and leisure sectors respectively.

The new technology also incorporates an independent prospect pool, powerful reporting and analysis suite and an integrated e-invoicing and e-billing platform that can provide an end-to-end audit trail.
Occam will be demonstrating Zebra at Stand W440-W490 during IDMF which runs from 29th April – 1st May at London’s Earls Court and will be supporting the launch with a programme of free knowledge-share seminars presented by clients including News International, RBS, Eurostar and ING.
