This is a great place for lunches if it's your first time to Leeds. You'll get a good mix of business men and women alongside some of the Emmerdale cast and a number of ITV Drama actors and actresses that are filming in Leeds.
The Living Room, 7 Greek Street, Leeds, LS1 5RW
The Living Room has both The Dining Room Restaurant and also The Living Room
Restaurant both are renowned for business lunches. The restaurants and bar area are usually busy with business meetings taking place Monday to Friday, as it's in the heart of the financial quarter. This is a great place if your meeting is with a bank, solicitor, accountancy firm or recruitment agency.
Prohibition, Yorkshire House, Greek Street, Leeds, LS1 5SH
This is the most informal place to have lunch within the financial quarter of Leeds, it boasts a good selection of relaxed business lunches and work colleagues who dine together at lunch. Lunches at Prohibition occasionally move into the late afternoon due to it's relaxed vibe. Also known for media types holding lunches.
Anthony's, 19 Boar Lane, Leeds, LS1 6EA
This restaurant usually requires pre-bookings due to it's reputation and also the close proximity to the train station. Very formal restaurant, but well-known for business, especially if you're in the city for only an hour or two.
The Faversham, 1-5 Springfield Mount, LS2 9NG
If you're doing business with any of the Universities, Colleges or students in Leeds then The Fav is the place to hold your lunch meetings. Relaxed venue, just out of the city centre and excellent for a Summer's day, when the atmosphere is usually electric.
The Cross Keys, 107 Water Lane, Holbeck Urban Village, Leeds, LS11 5WD
By far the best venue if your business lunch is within the creative sector. Holbeck Urban Village is the hub for design agencies, film production companies and general creative houses. The Cross Keys is a pub with traditional values, but where loads of decisions are made regarding creative for Leeds.
Chino Latino, The Park Plaza Hotel, City Square, Leeds, LS1 5NS
Possibly the chicest restaurant in Leeds and part of The Park Plaza Hotel. Chino Latino is a good place to have dinner meetings between Wednesday and Friday evenings.
Cocktails and Clubs
Mojo, 18 Merrion Street, Leeds LS1 6PQ
Mojo's is where every band that has ever stepped foot in Leeds has drank a beer or two and a number of house cocktails. A late evening venue good for business drinks after around 8pm. Good place for hanging out with the rock n roll side of Leeds. Good place to do business if you work in the music industry.
Superna, Assembly Street, Leeds, LS2 7DE
This is one of the new kids on the block and is gaining continuous talkability around the city of Leeds. If you're entertaining clients overnight, then you need to make a visit to Superna. It's a great place to pose, watch cast members from Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, Coronation Street and a few footballers hanging round. Excellent choice to entertain guests if you're working in retail and want to make a fashion statement.
